The successful candidate will supervise children during lunchtime and engage them in playground activities. While experience is advantageous, training will be provided. Overview

Relief Lunchtime Supervisor position at Mynydd Cynffig Primary School. This role is required as and when needed during the lunchtime period, term time only.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in all areas of the school during the lunchtime period (between 12:00pm and 1:00pm).
• Supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games as part of a team.
• Cover for other school staff at short notice subject to availability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience of working with children and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Compliance and Safeguarding

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility for all council employees.

An Enhanced DBS check with the Children's Barred List is a requirement for this post (as part of the Disclosure & Barring Service).
