Job summary

North Ayrshire Leisure Limited is seeking a Lifeguard at Auchenharvie Leisure Centre in Stevenston to ensure pool safety, supervise users and maintain a welcoming environment. You will support aquatics programmes and deliver high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

The role involves supervising the pool and surrounding areas, assisting with swimming lessons and daily operations, with hours on a flexible, as-needed basis and in line with the Living Wage Initiative (£13.52/hour).

Rate of pay: £13.52 per hour (K:A Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £13.52 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply.)
Hours: As and when required
Location: Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, Saltcoats Road, Stevenston, KA20 3JR
Positions available: Multiple

Job purpose:
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all pool users. This includes supervising the pool and surrounding areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility preparation, and providing excellent customer service. The role contributes to a safe, welcoming environment and supports the delivery of swimming lessons, programmes, and other aquatics activities.

Desirable:
