Overview

Adept Care homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. We help our residents to lead enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team. We are recruiting a Relief Home Manager to support our homes within the group where there is a manager absence due to a vacancy, leave or sickness. You will also be required to support and mentor new managers and those who are experiencing operational challenges. You may also be asked to assist with specific projects in the homes and to meet the needs of the business. Our Relief Manager will work across our sites based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Redditch and Burbage.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief management across multiple sites where there is a manager absence due to vacancy, leave or sickness.
• Support and mentor new managers and those experiencing operational challenges.
• Assist with specific projects in the homes and meet the needs of the business.
• Travel between sites as required; extensive travel to seven sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3 years+ Care Home Management experience (Essential).
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (Essential).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a care environment is required.
• Own car required and business miles paid.
• Requirement to be on-call.
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Positive and caring attitude (essential).

Location

Sites are based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Redditch and Burbage.

Remuneration & Benefits

• £51,292.80
• 10% bonus opportunity (£56,422 OTE)
• 40 hours a week plus on call rota
