Job summary

Get Recruited partners with a growing facilities management company to recruit a Commercial Sales Manager in Manchester. The role centers on building lasting client relationships, handling warm enquiries and growing account value through tailored services.

You’ll meet clients across offices, manufacturing, education, logistics and retail, conducting meetings and site visits while proposing tailored solutions and driving long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Sales Manager or in a relationship-led B2B sales role.
• Track record of developing customer relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Consultative approach to understand client needs and tailor services.
• Confident managing enquiries, proposals and negotiations.
• Strong commercial awareness of costs, margins and contract values.
• Experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and senior decision-makers.
• Manage inbound enquiries and marketing-generated opportunities with a responsive experience.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand operations and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to grow account value through additional services and referrals.
• Coordinate tailored quotations, proposals, pricing models and tender responses.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and progress proposals.
• Discuss service options and negotiate commercial terms for long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate with Operations and Finance to align requirements with delivery and pricing.
• Coordinate structured handovers covering scope, pricing and mobilisation.
• Use CRM to maintain records, contact plans and forecasts.
• Utilise AI tools to support research, proposals and administration.
• Achieve sales, account development, revenue and gross profit targets.
