Job summary

Social Interest Group (SIG) is recruiting a Relief Bank Support Coach to cover day shifts at our Havering residential service for residents who have left prison. You will support independence, develop tailored plans, and help residents engage with the community and life skills.

The role requires resilience, empathy, and the ability to work on a rolling rota across days and nights. DBS check is part of the process; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse or related sectors.
• IT proficiency and basic Microsoft experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times.
• Engaging with residents and ensuring license conditions are adhered to.
• Completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service.
• Building trusting professional relationships and supporting residents to achieve their goals.
• Empowering residents to take control over their lives and meet personal goals.
