Job summary

Social Interest Group (SIG) is seeking a Night Support Coach in Havering to support residents on a rolling night shift. You will engage with individuals who have left prison and live in a residential setting, developing tailored support plans and contributing to safer communities.

The role requires flexibility, a proactive mindset and the ability to build rapport with residents with complex needs. The position offers a rota-based schedule, with 37.5 hours per week and potential evening/bank

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with residents who have complex needs.
• Comfortable working nights and flexible patterns.
• Understanding of housing and social needs post-release from prison.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.
• Engage with residents at night to ensure compliance with license conditions and plan activities.
• Provide handovers to day colleagues for a seamless service.
• Build trusted professional relationships and support residents to achieve personal goals.
• Empower residents to take control over their lives and update support plans.
