Job summary

Social Interest Group (SIG) in Havering, London, is seeking a Support Coach to assist residents recently released from prison in a residential setting. You will help them reintegrate into the community, create tailored support plans, and motivate engagement in activities and life skills.

The role is day-shift with a rolling rota, requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, and focuses on safeguarding, risk management, and meeting service KPIs through collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with people from complex backgrounds and ex-offenders.
• Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management.
• Understanding of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and mental health.
• Resilience to working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.
• Engage with residents, ensuring compliance with license conditions and plan activities.
