Job summary

G MASS in London is seeking a senior regulatory reporting lead for a managed services engagement. The role balances run-the-bank operations with a change-the-bank focus, owning the change agenda and ensuring timely responses to client queries.

You will line-manage the London reporting specialist, drive the second phase of reconciliation platform implementation with offshore teams, and deliver data quality improvements while coordinating with the client and brokers.

Qualifications

• Extensive regulatory operations and regulatory reporting experience in financial services or with a reporting platform/service provider.
• Breadth across G20 transaction/regulatory reporting frameworks (EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II/MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, MAS, HKMA, CSA).
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms including implementation or phased rollout.
• A track record of change delivery within an operational reporting environment with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the change agenda across the managed service to enable BAU processing.
• Act as primary contact for change-the-bank matters with the run-the-bank lead.
• Line-manage the London reporting specialist with oversight and support.
• Lead the second phase of reconciliation platform implementation with offshore delivery.
• Identify and deliver process improvements, migrate manual tasks to the platform.
• Own client queries to the engagement mailbox and respond within agreed timeframes.
• Calculate and oversee errors and omissions threshold assessments.
• Oversee data quality check requests and ensure robust analysis.
• Represent the engagement on change calls with the outsourced back-office provider.
• Follow up with brokers on required changes to completion.
• Work across all reporting regimes in scope, not limited to a single regulation.
• Collaborate with offshore counterpart to maintain continuous coverage of change workload.
• Step into hands-on BAU processing when the team is short, including holidays.
