Job summary

G MASS Consulting partners with a regulatory reporting services provider to deliver change and BAU support for a major global asset manager in London. This contract role sits in a split governance model, focusing on the change-the-bank agenda and reconciliation platform enhancement.

You will own the change program across multiple regimes, manage data quality, coordinate offshore delivery, and mentor a London reporting specialist, with on-site presence required at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive regulatory operations and regulatory reporting experience.
• Multi-regime breadth across major frameworks; breadth matters.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms and phased rollout.
• Track record of change delivery in operational reporting environments.
• Experience with data quality remediation and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the change agenda across the managed service, enabling BAU to focus on daily processing.
• Act as the primary contact for change-the-bank matters and coordinate with run-the-bank lead.
• Line-manage the London reporting specialist, providing oversight while enabling autonomy.
• Lead the second phase of the reconciliation platform implementation with offshore delivery.
• Identify and deliver process improvements, migrate tasks to the platform, and improve data quality.
• Own client queries and respond within agreed timeframes; oversee threshold assessments.
• Coordinate with offshore analysts on data quality checks and ensure sound analysis.
• Represent the engagement on change calls with the outsourced back-office provider.
• Follow up with brokers for required changes and drive them to completion.
• Work across all reporting regimes in scope, not limited to a single regulation.
• Maintain continuous coverage of change workload with offshore counterpart.
• Step into hands-on BAU processing when the team is short, including offshore holidays.
