Job summary

G MASS Consulting in London is seeking a Compliance Associate to build and own an audit-ready regulatory reporting control environment across UK/EU, Singapore, and US obligations. Reporting to the Global Head of Regulatory Reporting, the role is hands-on, turning live initiatives into documented, repeatable assurance.

You will design control frameworks, run testing cycles, and present results to the Global Head and CCO, owning the end-to-end process from data to MI.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, or controls at asset managers or hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Own the compliance-testing cycle from start to finish and produce quarterly MI.
• Design and maintain control frameworks for MiFID / MiFIR and MAS reporting.
• Scrutinise data for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and challenge outputs.
• Lead insourcing of US regulatory reporting with governance and sign-off.
• Establish UK short-selling and major shareholding disclosures processes with daily reconciliation.
• Assess and strengthen personal-account dealing controls.
• Create a firmwide library of regulatory reporting procedures with version control.
• Collaborate with tech, ops and compliance across jurisdictions to embed controls.
• Document findings and elevate material risks promptly.
