Job summary

Nomura in London is seeking a Vice President for Regulatory Reporting to lead cross-border regulatory initiatives and ensure compliant reporting across EMEA. You will partner with Compliance, IT and business lines to translate complex regulations into implementable controls.

Key focus areas include MiFID, EMIR, SFTR and central bank reporting, with extensive stakeholder management and programme delivery across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in financial regulatory frameworks across EMEA.
• Experience with EMIR, SFTR, MiFID RTS 22/1/2 and BoE/BoI reporting.
• Ability to translate regulatory text into business requirements.
• Experience managing regulatory change programmes.
• Strong risk and control mindset with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Compliance on regulatory interpretation and cross-regional impacts.
• Conduct gap analyses comparing current reporting to new requirements.
• Perform root cause analyses for regulatory breaches across jurisdictions.
• Drive remediation plans with technology teams.
• Coordinate UAT and provide regional sign-offs.
• Lead governance for regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Manage new business initiative reporting.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders.
