Job summary

G MASS is seeking a regulatory reporting assurance professional to join a client-facing engagement focused on testing and improving the quality, completeness and timeliness of regulatory submissions. You will work on engagements for institutional clients, deploying into client sites across Europe with two days per week on site from London or elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Background in regulatory reporting assurance or data quality.
• Hands-on experience testing regulatory reporting data.
• Experience of audit-driven remediation.
• Strong data analysis capability with SQL.
• Breadth across regulatory regimes (EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, SFTR, CFTC, or SEC).
• Strong root-cause analysis skills.
• Clear written communication for auditors/regulators.
• Confident client-facing demeanour; ability to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of clients’ regulatory reporting, testing data for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Design and execute data quality testing and reconciliation routines across client reporting populations.
• Quantify the scale and materiality of the issues identified for client understanding.
• Perform root-cause analysis on reporting breaks and trace issues through upstream data.
• Support clients through remediation arising from audit findings, from assessment to corrected submissions.
• Produce clear, evidenced documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Apply data quality tooling to automate testing and improve repeatability.
• Present findings to senior client stakeholders and defend the analysis.
