Job summary

G MASS in London is seeking an experienced SFTR specialist to own end-to-end SFTR reporting, covering repo, securities lending and margin lending, and to manage the change portfolio. You will interpret regulation, oversee BAU reporting, data mapping, testing, and collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Technology and Front Office to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role is based in the London office on a full-time basis; extensive stakeholder engagement and horizon-scanning for regulatory

Qualifications

• Extensive practical knowledge of SFTR and reporting obligations.
• Experience supporting or owning SFTR within hedge funds or banks.
• Strong understanding of repo, securities lending, and margin lending lifecycles.
• Ability to work as a principal SFTR specialist with data mapping and enrichment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of SFTR reporting for repo, securities lending and margin lending.
• Maintain understanding of SFTR regulation, fields, data sourcing and vendor mappings.
• Be primary point of contact for SFTR implementation and regulatory changes.
• Conduct horizon scanning and assess impact of regulatory developments.
• Ensure auditable traceability from regulation to requirements and tech implementation.
• Oversee daily BAU reporting metrics and manage exceptions within risk appetite.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory enquiries with Compliance and Operations.
• Lead SFTR reporting change from analysis to testing, UAT and validation.
• Analyze data flows, mappings and enrichment processes for data quality.
