Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join a rotational post across departments. The role offers development opportunities, leadership training, and a clear pathway to progression to Band 5 with accredited checking options.

You will work with EPIC electronic prescribing and Omnicell cabinets to provide safe, efficient patient‑centered pharmacy services, including medicines management rotations and direct patient contact.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration required and current with licence.
• Hospital experience not essential but welcome.
• Rotational post with leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Label, dispense and check a wide range of prescriptions, including controlled drugs.
• Use EPIC and Omnicell to deliver accurate, timely pharmacy services.
• Take medication histories and medicines reconciliation.
• Counsel patients on new treatments and support safe medicine use.
• Complete competency units and leadership training for progression.
