Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join a busy pharmacy team. The role welcomes applicants from community or other pharmacy sectors, with hospital experience not essential, and offers Band 4/5 progression with ACCREDITED CHECKING on move to Band 5.

You will complete an in-house competency programme including supervisory and leadership training to prepare you for line management when competent, in a fast-paced environment focused on patient

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with current registration.
• Previous hospital experience not essential.
• Band 5 progression path including accredited checking (ACT status) where applicable.
• Willingness to participate in in-house competency and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Work with EPIC and Omnicell to dispense accurately and cost-effectively.
• Label, dispense and check a wide range of prescriptions including specials and clinical trials.
• Engage in medicines management rotations and medicines reconciliation.
• Demonstrate communication, accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
