Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician for a rotational role at Band 4 to 5 progression. The post involves dispensing, patient counselling, medicines optimisation, and discharge processing across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires post-qualification experience and GPhC registration, with potential rotation into evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with post-qualification experience.
• Desirable hospital pharmacy experience.
• Willingness to participate in rotas including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and Accuracy Checking for in-patients, outpatients and discharge.
• Patient counselling and medicines optimisation at ward level.
• Medicines reconciliation at bedside and processing discharge prescriptions.
• Aseptic outsourcing duties.
