Job summary

EQ Care is seeking a Qualified Registered Nurse for Cedar Lodge, a 45-bed nursing and dementia care home in Whitchurch-on-Thames. You will lead by example, support staff, and provide compassionate, personalised care, including medication management.

The role emphasizes collaboration with GPs and MDT members to maintain high standards of care while representing the Cedar Lodge brand in a professional, welcoming manner.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a similar environment desirable.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the management team and ensure handover information at shift changes.
• Support residents daily and enable their individual routines.
• Represent Cedar Lodge brand with a professional, welcoming presence for residents and visitors.
• Liaise with GPs and multi-disciplinary teams to promote excellent care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager.

• Collaborate with the management team and make sure that all relevant information is handed over at the change of shifts
• Ensure each person who lives in the home is supported, and enabled the persons way every day
• Represent Cedar Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• To liaise with people who live and work in the home along with, GPs and other multi-disciplinary team members to promote excellent care
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.
