Cedar Lodge Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) to lead the care team for a 44‑hour week, 8am–8pm, in Whitchurch-on-Thames. Up to £33,176 per annum (pro rata) is offered, with a focus on delivering safe, compassionate, person‑centred care in a 45‑bed nursing and dementia setting.

You’ll supervise staff, attend meetings, and support residents to reach their personal outcomes, while upholding the Cedar Lodge brand and standards.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Experience in a care home or similar environment preferred.
• Flexible, patient, people‑oriented attitude and a can‑do approach.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Cedar Lodge professionally to residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well lead care provision is maintained.
• Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve – through an enabling and supportive approach
• Represent the Cedar Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience within a similar environment desirable
• You need to be flexible, patient, with a ‘can do’ caring attitude, and a real 'people person'
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
