Job summary

Acer Lodge, operated by EQ Care Group in Blackburn, is seeking a flexible bank Registered Nurse. You will join a close-knit home, lead by example, and support residents with compassionate care. The role offers the freedom to choose shifts and requires an active NMC pin and IT proficiency.

Responsibilities include medication administration, coordinating with GPs and the multi-disciplinary team, and contributing to a positive, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience within a similar environment desirable
• Valid NMC Pin - no restrictions
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the management team and make sure that all relevant information is handed over at the change of shifts
• Ensure each person who lives in the home is supported, and enabled the person’s way – every day
• Represent the Acer Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• To liaise with people who live and work in the home along with, GPs’ and other multi-disciplinary team members to promote excellent care
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

Salary: up to £23.93 per hour (dependent on experience)

As a bank Registered Nurse at Acer Lodge, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. Do you want to have the flexibility to work the hours you want?
