The Registered Nurse (Dialysis) demonstrates knowledge, skill and leadership when providing, directing, and improving care for patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), and late-stage Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. Core elements of performance include knowledge and active participation in the Dialysis Unit/Program level quality improvement process and initiatives as well as customer service programs.
