Job summary

Gaia Recruitment is partnering with a leading health assessments provider to recruit Nurse Assessors for Cornwall and surrounding sites. This hybrid, Monday-to-Friday role combines clinic assessments with remote work, no nights or weekends, and a clear career development path.

You’ll perform functional assessments, write clear reports for DWP decisions, and maintain compassionate, patient-centered care. NMC-registered nurses with at least 1 year post-registration are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and no restrictions.
• At least 1 year post-registration experience.
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach.
• Confident IT skills and good written English.

Nurse Assessor – Truro and other sites across Cornwall (Hybrid)

Location: Cornwall (Hybrid) | Full Time | Permanent

Salary: Starting at £42,000, plus a 10% bonus

Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a change of pace without leaving your clinical expertise behind?

Gaia Recruitment is working with a leading provider of health and disability assessments for the DWP to recruit Nurse Assessors in Cornwall You’ll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments, helping people access the support they need. This is a hybrid, Monday-to-Friday role with no nights, no weekends and no bank holidays.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out functional assessments of claimants with a range of health conditions and disabilities

• Treating every claimant with empathy, respect and professionalism

What we’re looking for

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a current NMC registration and no restrictions
• At least 1 year of post-registration experience
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
• Confident IT skills and good written English
