Job summary

Gaia Recruitment is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a leading health and disability assessment team in Ipswich. You will conduct functional assessments, applying clinical reasoning to understand impact on daily living and produce clear reports for DWP decision-making.

The role is hybrid, Monday–Friday, with no nights or weekends and a starting salary of £42,985 plus a £2,000 increase in year one and a 10% bonus, along with full training and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and no restrictions.
• At least 1 year of post-registration experience.
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach.
• Confident IT skills and good written English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional assessments of claimants with a range of health conditions and disabilities.
• Use clinical reasoning to understand how a person’s condition affects daily life.
• Write clear, evidence-based reports to support DWP decision-making.

Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a change of pace without leaving your clinical expertise behind?

Gaia Recruitment is working with a leading provider of health and disability assessments for the DWP to recruit Nurse Assessors in Ipswich. You’ll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments, helping people access the support they need. This is a hybrid, Monday-to-Friday role with no nights, no weekends and no bank holidays.

What we’re looking for
