Job summary

Gaia Recruitment is partnering with a leading health assessments provider to recruit Nurse Assessors for Cornwall and surrounding sites. This hybrid, Monday-to-Friday role combines clinic assessments with remote work, no nights or weekends, and a clear career development path.

You’ll perform functional assessments, write clear reports for DWP decisions, and maintain compassionate, patient-centered care. NMC-registered nurses with at least 1 year post-registration are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and no restrictions.
• At least 1 year post-registration experience.
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach.
• Confident IT skills and good written English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional assessments of claimants with various health conditions.
• Use clinical reasoning to understand how conditions affect daily life.
• Write clear, evidence-based reports to support DWP decisions.
• Treat every claimant with empathy, respect and professionalism.
