Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group in Wetherby is seeking a Registered Home Manager for Wetherby Manor, a 75-bed care home with a dedicated nursing unit. You will have overall responsibility for quality, culture and performance, with autonomy and the support of a national organisation behind you.

This role combines clinical leadership with operational oversight, driving occupancy, budgets and staff development while maintaining outstanding care and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current NMC PIN with experience of leading nursing services in a care home setting.
• An experienced Registered Manager with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC outcomes.
• A genuine commitment to outstanding care and improving the lives of older people.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and wider regulatory requirements.
• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• A proactive approach to quality improvement, problem solving and delivering positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to collaborate with residents, families, professionals, and colleagues.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).

Location: Wetherby Manor, Wetherby

Contract: 37.5 hours | Permanent

Salary: £71,500 per annum
