Job summary

Welford Healthcare is seeking a Registered Home Manager to lead our care home operations and resident-focused care. You will oversee a skilled team, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive occupancy through local engagement and service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a passion for dementia care. You will work on-site to ensure quality care and a safe, welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a similar sized home.
• Passionate about Dementia care.
• Experience in providing and reviewing care assessments and plans in accordance to CQC requirements.
• Experience in recruiting, developing and managing a team.
• Experience of managing and working towards budgets.
• Capable of increasing occupancy and marketing the home.
• Excellent communication skills—confident working with local authorities and building new contacts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the home to deliver high-quality dementia care.
• Lead and develop the care team, including recruitment and training.
• Oversee budget planning and financial performance of the home.
• Ensure care assessments and plans meet CQC requirements.
• Drive occupancy through local and community outreach.
