Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand new not-for-profit Children’s Services Residential Home in York. You will oversee daily operations, manage teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, and act as corporate parent to the children in care, ensuring they'd thrive in daily life.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, and at least 3 years in residential care with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
