Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a new children's services residential home in York. You will oversee daily operations, guide support teams, and ensure high-quality care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) with at least three years’ managerial experience, plus strong safeguarding and Ofsted knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed best practices to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
