Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted-registered Manager to lead a brand-new childrens residential home in York. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support children with learning disabilities and complex needs, and guide teams to deliver outstanding care.

You will ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations 2015, develop care plans, and foster a safe, inclusive environment. The role includes career development opportunities and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma required (Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, England).
• Minimum 3 years in children's residential care, with 3+ years in management.
• Experience with safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the childrens home in York and support children with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Lead and develop dedicated teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
• Ensure high-quality care delivery and full regulatory compliance.
