Job summary

Community Care Live is seeking a Fostering Registered Manager for its North East Region service. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to lead a therapeutic, Ofsted-outstanding fostering service.

You will hold a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have post-qualification experience in fostering with significant management responsibilities, overseeing social workers and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Social Work required.
Post-qualification experience in fostering with significant management experience.
Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and support fostering social workers and staff
Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, legislation, and policies
Monitor service quality, performance, and outcomes for children; conduct audits and implement improvements
Collaborate with local authorities and partner agencies
Contribute to budget management and resource planning
Support strategic planning and development of fostering services
