Job summary

Independent Fostering Agency in the North East is seeking a Fostering Registered Manager to lead the fostering service. The role is permanent, full-time and hybrid, covering the North East region.

You will oversee social workers, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive service improvements. The candidate will hold a social work degree with post-qualification experience in fostering and significant management experience.

Qualifications

• Social Work degree required with post-qualification experience in Fostering and management.
• Experience leading teams and managing services in a regulated setting.
• Ability to develop improvements and ensure high Ofsted-standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support fostering social workers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, legislation, and policies.
• Monitor service quality, performance, and outcomes for children; conduct audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with local authorities and partner agencies.
• Contribute to budget management and resource planning.

A not-for-profit Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Fostering Registered Manager for their fostering service that covers North East Region.This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)
