Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager for a brand new not-for-profit Children’s Services Residential Home in York. You will lead and develop the service, oversee day-to-day operations, and provide line-management to Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to deliver high-quality care for children with learning disabilities.

The role requires Level 5 Diploma and at least 3 years in childrens residential care, including leadership, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers across the home.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential home and ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding standards.
