Job summary

Agincare seeks an Ofsted Registered Manager for a new children's residential home in York. You will lead and develop the service, overseeing daily operations and safeguarding for children with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will manage teams, ensure high-quality care delivery, and drive compliance with regulatory standards from the outset. The role offers a unique chance to shape best practices and outcomes for the children and staff involved.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
