Keys Group is seeking a Registered Manager for Activity & Intervention in Newcastle Under Lyme. You will lead a multi-site team delivering outdoor, trauma-informed residential care for children with EBD and CCE needs, combining activity-based intervention with safeguarding and quality oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in Children's Residential care.
• Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services.
• Experience working with trauma in Children and Young People.
• Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989 and home regulations.
• Experience of budgets and financial management.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Registered Manager- Children's Home

Location: Maer, Newcastle Under Lyme

Activity-led intervention uses carefully planned activities as positive interrupters to help young people regulate emotions, build confidence and re-engage. This includes outdoor pursuits and reflective activities, all delivered safely and with purpose.

As Registered Manager, you'll lead a dedicated multi-site team, combining creativity, adventure and positive risk-taking to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people. Supported by two Deputy Managers and an Administrator, you'll have the opportunity to develop highly sought-after skills that can pave the way to future senior leadership roles.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading a therapeutic & trauma informed children's home.

What you'll bring to the role:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a supervisory role within Children's Residential
• Achieved a Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
• Experience working with trauma within Children and Young People
• Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Children's home regulations.
• Experience of budgets and financial management.
• Full driving licence is essential.
