The Role
- Lead the day-to-day operation of a residential care service, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care.
- Maintain full CQC compliance and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Inspire, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
- Drive occupancy, financial performance and effective budget management.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, governance, audits and risk management.
- Ensure safe staffing, effective recruitment, retention and colleague development.
- Champion dignity, independence and compassionate care throughout the service.
About You
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly residential or nursing care setting.
- Registered with CQC or eligible to register.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards.
- Proven leadership, people management and operational experience.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding resident outcomes through compassionate leadership.
