About Us: Our client is establishing a new residential children’s home in Enfield dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for children and young people. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children in our care.

Job Summary: As the Registered Manager for our newly established residential children’s home in Enfield, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and secure environment where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ofsted Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards for residential children’s homes.
  • Lead the preparation for inspections and maintain records to demonstrate high-quality care.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and compassionate team of care professionals.
  • Provide leadership to create a positive and collaborative work culture within the residential home.
  • Residential Care Oversight:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of care.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of care services and implement improvements as needed.
  • Child Welfare and Safeguarding:
  • Prioritize the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people in the residential home.
  • Collaborate with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure the well-being of each child.
  • Communication and Engagement:
  • Foster open and effective communication channels with staff, children, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with families and guardians to ensure the involvement of parents in the care planning process.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage the budget for the residential home efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective practices while maintaining the quality of care.
  • Training and Development:
  • Support the ongoing professional development of staff through training and mentorship.

Qualifications and Experience:
