Service Users: 8-18 year olds, with a complex range of risk and behaviours; supporting up to 3 young people at any one time
Qualifications Required: Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare (must hold or be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services)
Experience Required: At least 3 years' experience working with children within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year at Senior level supervision or management in a residential setting
Our client operates a beautiful Emotional Well-being Home supporting up to 3 young people at any one time, giving them the opportunity to enjoy different experiences and develop confidence, independence, and social/emotional skills.
A driven and passionate Registered Manager holding a full UK driving licence, with strong knowledge of OFSTED Regulations and Quality Standards, sound experience of safeguarding and reporting, and the ability to lead a team towards an Outstanding rating.
Our client is one of the UK's largest children's charities, currently on an exciting and innovative journey in partnership with the Local Authority to deliver a range of children's homes for some of the most vulnerable young people in the area.
Multiple homes across the locality, with this role based at one home but requiring flexibility to travel and support other homes as needed.
You'll be joining an organisation working collaboratively with the Local Authority to create a culture where the complex needs of individual young people and the group are met, with a genuine focus on aspirational outcomes.
