Job summary

Sgscare is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Chester. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safe, nurturing, person-centred care, and maintain full regulatory compliance for solo and multi-bed settings.

You will be responsible for driving positive outcomes for children with complex EBD, building high-performing teams, and aligning practice with Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care.
• Proven track record delivering positive outcomes for children with complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the children's residential home.
• Oversee both solo placement and multi-bed home settings while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Service Users:

Children and young people with complex Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), supported within solo placements and multi-bed residential homes

Qualifications Required:

• Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care
• Eligible for Ofsted Registered Manager registration

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare management or a senior supervisory role
• Proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for children with complex needs
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulatory standards, the Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding
