Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking a Registered Manager for a respected specialist care provider in Leatherhead. You will lead a Supported Living service for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism, delivering strong leadership and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards) with solid knowledge of CQC standards, health and safety, and LA requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of CQC, Health and Safety and local authority requirements.
• Experience managing Residential or Supported Living services for adults with Learning Disabilities.
• Experience recruiting staff and managing occupancy.
• Experience leading a large staff team.

Domus are recruiting for aRegistered Manager on behalf of a highly reputablespecialist care provider, to help support the leadership and development for one of their Supported Living services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Based in Leatherhead, you will be supported by an amazing leadership team,and will will provide clear direction, management and supervision of a great staff team.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager within the Health and Social Care sector, with a Level 5 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:

• Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
• Responsible for budget management.
• Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.
• You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home and be an excellent manager of staff.

Registered Manager Requirements:

• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) or the ability to work towards.
• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and Local Authority requirements.
• Experience of managing Residential or Supported Livingservices for adults with Learning Disabilities.
• A background in recruiting staff team and occupancy.
• Experience of line managing a large staff team.
