Job summary

Aspris Children's Services is seeking a Registered Manager for our North West region, based at the Thornton Children's Home. You will lead a dedicated team to provide nurturing care, build life skills, and help young people engage with their communities.

You will ensure high standards of care planning, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance, shaping positive outcomes for every child and working closely with families, professionals, and staff.

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (required).
• Experience of leading a team within residential care.
• Commitment to Regulation 28 and safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the care team to deliver exceptional support for young people.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Support independence and life skills development for residents.

As a Registered Manager at our Children's Home Thornton, you will be at the heart of creating a positive, nurturing, and enriching environment for young people. You will lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care, ensuring children and young people have opportunities to build independence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. From supporting young people to engage with their communities, participate in activities and events, and achieve their personal goals, to overseeing care planning, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping positive outcomes. To be able to meet Regulation 28 of the Children Home Regulations including:

• Integrity and good character
• Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management
• Experience of leading a team within residential care
