Job summary

Aspris is recruiting an experienced Children’s Home Manager to lead our Somerset area homes. The role focuses on safeguarding, quality, compliance and team development to create a calm, well-run service for children and young people with complex needs.

You’ll be supported by a strong leadership team and wider Aspris resources, with development opportunities and wellbeing support as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience as childcare practitioner managing teams in a residential setting.
• Ability to lead teams through change and development.
• Committed to putting children and young people at the centre of all activities.
• Full driving licence is required.

Job description

Aspris Children's Services are currently recruiting an experienced Children's Home Manager to support our children's homes in the Somerset Area.

Our Children's Homes in the area support children & young people aged 7 to 18 who have complex needs, including autistic spectrum disorder. This is a fantastic role and opportunity to shape and change their lives in a safe, caring, loving and family environment.

We are looking for a confident leader who enjoys developing teams, bringing stability, and moving services forward. The home needs consistent, supportive leadership to rebuild confidence, embed good practice, and create a positive culture for both staff and young people.

The role?

As Peripatetic Manager have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, including:

• Safeguarding
• Quality
• Compliance
• Team development.
• A key focus will be supporting and developing staff, setting clear expectations, and creating a calm, well-run service.

You won’t be doing this alone - you’ll be backed by an experienced leadership team as well as specialist support from wider Aspris teams!
