Job summary
Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stairlift Technical Manager to join a well-established stairlift manufacturer in a senior, field-based role. You will act as deputy to the Head of Region, combining technical support, partner training and commercial awareness to improve product knowledge and installation standards.
You’ll manage a Midlands-to-Yorkshire patch with some travel to other regions, serving as the key link between external partners and internal Sales, Technical Support
Qualifications
- Experience in technical support, field training or partner-facing roles.
- Strong knowledge of stairlifts, mobility equipment or similar.
- Experience delivering technical guidance and coaching to partners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver regional training plans based on partner needs and recurring technical issues.
- Onboard new partners with product training and first-order support.
- Coach partner engineers, surveyors and sales teams to improve knowledge and performance.
- Provide field-based technical support and diagnose installation, survey and product issues.
- Manage complex partner cases through to resolution with internal teams.
- Support partner reviews and regional sales objectives.
- Improve right-first-time survey and installation outcomes through training.
- Rollout of new products, software updates and technical guidance.
