Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment in the East Midlands region seeks a Stairlift Technical Manager to lead field-based training and support for partners, ensuring high installation standards and knowledge transfer. You will act as deputy to regional leadership, coordinating with Sales, Technical Support and Engineering teams. Travel across the Midlands to Yorkshire will be required, with ongoing product training and issue resolution to boost partner confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, field training or partner-facing roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of stairlifts or mobility equipment.
• Experience delivering technical training and coaching.
• Ability to travel regularly across the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional training plans based on partner needs and recurring technical issues.
• Onboard new partners with product training, technical guidance and first-order support.
• Coach partner engineers, surveyors and sales teams to improve product knowledge and performance.
• Provide field-based technical support and diagnose installation, survey and product issues.
• Manage complex partner cases through to resolution, coordinating with internal teams.
• Support partner reviews, development plans and regional sales objectives.
• Improve right-first-time survey and installation outcomes through targeted training.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, training, technical cases and follow-up actions.
• Support the rollout of new products, software updates and technical guidance.
