Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stairlift Technical Manager for a senior, field-based role covering the Midlands to Yorkshire. You will act as deputy to the Head of Region, delivering technical support, partner training and commercial insight to raise installation standards and partner confidence.

You will lead regional training, onboard new partners and coach engineers, surveyors and sales teams. Regular travel to partner sites is expected.

Qualifications

Experience in technical support, field training, or partner-facing technical roles.
Experience delivering technical training and coaching to partners.
Strong commercial awareness to support sales while making technical decisions.
Proven ability to manage escalated issues through to resolution.
Stairlift surveying, installation, servicing or fault-finding experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver regional training plans based on partner needs and recurring technical issues.
Onboard new partners with product training and first-order support.
Coach partner engineers, surveyors and sales teams to improve product knowledge and performance.
Provide field-based technical support and diagnose installation, survey and product issues.
Manage complex partner cases through to resolution, coordinating with internal teams.
Support partner reviews, development plans and regional sales objectives.
Improve right-first-time survey and installation outcomes through targeted training.
Maintain accurate records of visits, training, technical cases and follow-up actions.
Support rollout of new products, software updates and technical guidance.
