Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead a regional field service team across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, ensuring safety, quality and customer service standards are consistently delivered.

This senior role focuses on people leadership, engine fleet performance and strong customer relationships, with accountability for contractual performance across the region.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineer (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Minimum of 10 years' engineering experience across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines and generators.
• CHP and balance of plant experience.
• Proven experience managing remote engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.
• INNIO Jenbacher product knowledge.
• HNC / HND in Engineering or equivalent.
• Gas Safe registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional service team across NI and ROI.
• Manage field service operations, call-outs and 24/7 coverage.
• Ensure contractual performance and Clarke Energy standards are met.
• Maintain safety, quality and customer relationships.
• Prepare risk assessments and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Escalate operational or people issues as needed.
• Provide regular performance updates to the Field Service Operations Manager.
