Job summary

Clarke Energy seeks an Area Service Manager to lead and develop a regional field service team across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, ensuring contractual commitments, safety, quality and customer service standards are achieved.

You will manage engineers and apprentices, drive performance, schedule work, and build strong customer relationships while maintaining readiness for 24/7 support. This senior role offers regional influence and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering background with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge.
• NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in engineering preferred.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage remote engineers.
• Strong customer relationships and contractual performance focus.
• Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional service team across NI/ROI and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Deliver contractual performance, plan maintenance and manage availability.
• Manage call-out rosters, 24/7 support readiness and downtime responses.
• Maintain customer relationships and regular performance updates.
• Lead audits, compliance and reporting through Field Service Operations.
