Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Regional Service Lead (SEND) to oversee operational performance and growth of SEND therapeutic services across a defined region. This role can be based remotely within the region or from KT Healthcare’s Head Office in Chichester.

The role combines operational management, clinical team leadership, stakeholder engagement and service development with a focus on safe, efficient delivery and high standards.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience in healthcare or SEND.
• Strong knowledge of SEND therapies landscape and commissioning.
• Experience managing services and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and commercial performance of SEND therapeutic services across the region.
• Oversee referrals, capacity, workforce and service utilisation.
• Provide leadership and support to multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to drive service improvement.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, SEND teams, NHS/ICB partners, schools, commissioners and referrers.
• Develop understanding of regional SEND commissioning priorities and identify opportunities for service development.
• Support tenders, frameworks, contracts and mobilisation of new services.
• Identify and manage operational risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure services meet relevant quality, regulatory and contractual requirements.
