Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking a Regional Service Lead to oversee SEND therapeutic services across a defined region. The role blends operational management, clinical team leadership and service development, working with clinical, operational, quality, finance and commercial teams to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality service delivery.

• Significant experience in a senior operational or service management role.
• Strong knowledge of SEND therapies landscape and local authority commissioning.
• Experience managing services, teams or operational performance.
• Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using KPIs and data to drive performance and improvement.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and commercial performance of SEND therapeutic services across the region.
• Oversee referrals, capacity, workforce and service utilisation.
• Provide leadership and support to multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to drive service improvement.
• Build relationships with local authorities, SEND teams, NHS/ICB partners, schools, commissioners and referrers.
• Identify opportunities for service development and support tenders, frameworks and contracts.
• Identify and manage operational risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure services meet relevant quality, regulatory and contractual requirements.
