The Role of a Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to promote Road Traffic Solutions primarily in our South Westof England region.

The main purpose of the role is to develop our presence in the regions increasing wallet share of existing customers and bringing new customers into the business. A current pipeline of customers would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and closing of opportunities for new business within the region.
  • Maintaining and developing existing relationships to increase wallet share.
  • Ensuring activity levels are kept high with customer site visits.
  • Delivering our value-added solutions to customers.
  • Keeping up to date with market metrics such as price etc.
  • Ensure that the regional sales targets are achieved.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Customer Service department to ensure an efficient customer journey.
  • Represent the business in all relevant marketing opportunities such as exhibitions, lunch and learn opportunities and supply chain meets.
  • Managing customer feedback and ensuring KPI's are met.
  • Helping to drive productivity and efficiencies throughout the business.
  • Assist with customer complaints to ensure a timely resolution.

Skills Required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication Skills.
  • Experience of acquiring new business and clients.
  • Previous experience within plant hire / construction / traffic management industry.
  • Existing knowledge of customer base within the utilities and infrastructure markets.
  • Successful track record in a competitive sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
  • Achievement focused and sales driven.
  • Client focused with a friendly, diplomatic and confident approach.

Other Info

Your reporting address will be Head Office (60-64 Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 7PQ), however you will operate remotely from your home address and travel as per the requirements of the job role. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 with 30minutes for lunch (40hrs per week).

Salary: £50,000 per annum + OTE Bonus £10,000.

The successful candidate would be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
