Job summary

Stryker is seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to drive the Joint Replacement business across the North UK. You will lead a high-calibre sales and service team, manage the region, and ensure revenue growth, customer service excellence, and efficient operations.

You will mentor new hires, support training on Mako procedures, and coordinate case coverage with Product Specialists across Europe and the USA. Regional travel and home-based work are required.

Qualifications

• Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences/economics.
• Verifiable successful sales and/or marketing experience.
• Experience in team leadership.
• Ideally knowledge in Joint Replacement & Robotics.
• Anatomical proficiency.
• Commercial skills in leading a profit centre.
• Knowledge of a CRM system.
• Knowledge of an ERP system.
• Computer skills, MS Office.
• Presentation skills with modern presentation media.

Responsibilities

• Exceed & deliver against the quarterly and yearly business budget while managing utilisation and recurring revenue.
• Lead and motivate a high performing sales and service team to accelerate the Joint Replacement portfolio.
• Ensure service levels are maintained at an exceptional standard throughout the customer base.
• Coach and develop your team to achieve their potential.
• Mentor new hires in clinical, sales and marketing skills and train on procedures.
• Support new starters with information on workflows, activity schedules and responsibilities.
• Register Mako Product Specialists on training courses in the UK and Amsterdam.
• Coordinate case coverage across a defined geography with the team.
• Collaborate with senior hospital staff and surgeons to increase implant/procedural volume.
