Job summary

LJ Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to grow our temperature-controlled vehicle rental business across the region. You will build relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with Depot Managers to align capacity with demand.

You will lead efforts to win new customers, retain existing ones, and drive revenue while maintaining high standards of service and fleet utilisation. Travel across the region is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel across region.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and quotation through to contract award and vehicle handover.
• Achieve agreed revenue, margin, and new business targets.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and improve customer retention.
• Work closely with local Depot Managers to align sales opportunities with operational capacity and vehicle availability.
• Hold regular Sales/Ops meetings with local DMs, documenting actions and following up on opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, and regular sales forecasts.
• Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for regional growth.
